Adult ESL E-Learning:
Putting Principles into Practice

2 Day Symposia, May 13 & June 2

With the march of technology getting faster all the time, it can be difficult to stay ahead of the curve with new technology-based teaching resources.  Our symposia offer expert speakers in the field of E-learning and ESL who will provide practical and useful information to assist you in making your classrooms cutting-edge learning environments.

These symposia are perfect both for instructors who are completely new to e-learning and those who already have experience with technology and teaching ESL but are looking for new ways to become innovators in the classroom. We guarantee that you will walk away from our sessions with great new ideas and a better understanding of how to incorporate technology effectively into your classrooms.

The Symposia will take place in Red Deer, at the Red Deer Lodge. They are being held on May 13th and June 2nd from 9:30-2:30, with lunch provided. Each day has different speakers and topics, so we hope you will register for both days; however, one-day registrations are also available. This Symposium is being supported by Alberta Employment and Immigration, which means we are able to offer the following very reasonable registration fees:

Early Bird (until April 29th): 1 day $35/ 2 days $60

Regular Rate (after April 29th): 1 day $40/ 2 days $70

All registrants will receive a free copy of a brand new resource manual called Guiding Principles for ESL and E-Learning.  This great new publication provides useful guiding principles and practical information on a variety of topic areas in ESL and E-Learning, including online ESL programming, video conferencing, online tools, choosing and evaluating multimedia software, and using E-learning with ESL literacy learners in rural areas.  It will be fresh off the printing press and you can be among the first to have a copy!

You can visit our website at www.daylightconsulting.ca to register or to get more detailed information about the symposium, including our speakers and presentation topics.  You can also contact us at daylightconsulting@shaw.ca if you have any questions, or call Jennifer Foote at 587-989-8392. If you would like to go straight to our registration page, you can find it at this URL: http://www.eplyevents.com/symposiumelearning

We hope to see you there!
