ATESL Edmonton Mini Conference
May 27, 2017
This year’s ATESL mini-conference will be held on Saturday, May 27th in Edmonton at NorQuest College. The theme for the mini-conference is “Enhancing Teaching with Technology”. With technology becoming more and more prevalent in our lives, it is advantageous to discover the different ways in which technology can be included in our classrooms. In addition, using technology will strengthen not only students’ digital skills, but teachers’ digital skills as well.
The day will include four different sessions covering various tech tools that could easily be incorporated into your classroom, such as Google Classroom, digital devices, online apps, social media platforms, and so much more!
A detailed mini-conference program is currently being developed and will be emailed to you once it is ready. Your registration includes breakfast and a boxed lunch.
The mini-conference registration fee is reduced for ATESL members. Not a member yet? It’s not too late! Become an ATESL member (http://atesl.ca/user/register) before you register for the mini-conference to receive the cheaper rate.
You can register for the mini-conference here.
Please note that online registration closes at noon on Tuesday, May 23.
Looking forward to seeing you there,
