Dec 04, 2025
4:00 - 5:00 PM MST
Description:
This interactive workshop explores how literature circles can be adapted for CLB 4+ learners to foster reading, speaking, and critical thinking skills. Participants will experience a mini literature circle, learn facilitation techniques to support diverse learners, and discuss assessment approaches aligned with PBLA. The session highlights practical ways to modify roles, scaffold language, and manage group dynamics effectively. Drawing from real classroom examples, Paola will share adaptable templates, reflection tools, and time-saving strategies to help instructors confidently integrate literature circles into their LINC and ESL programs.
