Let’s Talk About Indigenous Content in the Literacy Classroom

ATESL Advocacy and TIES Literacy Centre of Expertise would like you to join us on Thursday, January 20th at 4PM (MST) to talk about indigenous content in the literacy classroom. Suzanne Clavelle, author of Indigenous Voices in the Classroom, will give a short presentation and facilitate a discussion on how to approach this topic with literacy learners.

Discussion topics will be:

What are appropriate topics for lower-level Literacy students?
What are appropriate topics for higher-level Literacy students?
Where can you find appropriate resources online?
