English Language Learner Program Coordinator (Volunteer)

Please note:  this is a volunteer role.

Grace Presbyterian Church has had an English Language Learner (ELL) program operating for more than 10 years – it has touched the lives of literally hundreds of individuals who want to practice their conversational English in a safe, supportive environment.

The program currently runs September to June, with 5 terms of 5 to 6 classes.
There are breaks for the summer and between the terms.
Estimated time commitment is approximately 2-3 hours per week for 30 weeks per year.

The program has been coordinated by an individual (now retired) through that time; it is running very smoothly, with dedicated and capable class teachers in place.

The Coordinator role is about supporting these volunteer class leaders with the resources they need, trouble-shooting and visioning how to make this program even better.

This is a truly appreciated way to help make a difference in the lives of many people in the community.
