We offer flexible in-person and online ESL schedules, along with special classes to help students with test preparation or settlement needs.

Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable, engaging Online ESL Instructor to deliver interactive lessons to adult learners. This is a part-time, casual position that is ideal for instructors who want flexible hours and enjoy teaching in a virtual environment.

The ESL Online Classes are in the evening Monday through Thursday from 6:30 to 8:30 PM MST.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver ESL lessons online (Zoom or similar platforms).
• Provide clear instruction in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles and student levels.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate attendance and progress records.
• Communicate professionally with students and school administration.
  

Qualifications:

• TESL Canada–recognized certification OR equivalent ESL teaching credential.
• Experience teaching adult learners in ESL programs (online experience required).
• Strong understanding of Learning Management Systems.
• Excellent communication and classroom-management skills.
• Comfortable using online teaching tools and digital resources.
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace.
  

Hours & Compensation:
Part-time: 8 hours per week
Flexible schedule - no set hours prep time
Hourly rate: $25–$28/hr depending on experience.

Statutory Holidays are provided as per Alberta Labour Laws
