March 10 -Academic integrity among EAL learners: Insight for COVID-19 and beyond

OnĀ Wednesday, March 10, from 5:30 to 7:00 pm, Sarah Eaton, Associate Professor with the Werklund School of Education, will present Academic integrity among EAL learners: Insight for COVID-19 and beyond. Join us for a candid conversation about how to support EAL students to learn ethically during COVID-19 and beyond. Find out what the research says about EAL students and breaches of academic integrity (e.g., academic misconduct), as well as how academic integrity looks different in online settings. Finally, bolster your understanding of predatory contract cheating companies who are poised to prey on students during this time, with EAL students being a prime target. This session will take a strengths-based approach, grounded in credible research. The focus will be on advocating for student learning first and foremost.

If you would like to attend this session, please RSVP to calgary@atesl.ca, and we will send you the link to the Zoom meeting.

We hope you will be able to join us!

Sincerely,

Nancy, Priscilla, and Peggy
