Summary:

Learning English with CBC has been a valuable resource for ESL teachers and English language learners since 2011.  The website has provided thousands of newcomers to Alberta with authentic, locally-produced lessons focused on current events.  In 2017, the project was completely re-envisioned with an emphasis on mobile, interactive, and learner-driven technology.  In this hands-on presentation, we will navigate through the website together, discussing how the new format works and how this resource can be utilized both in and outside the classroom for a variety of language-learning activities.  Lastly, participants will have an opportunity to provide feedback through a brief survey.
