Let’s Talk About Addressing PBLA Competencies with Literacy Learners

Please join us and guest hosts Natalia and Patricia on Thursday, November 16th, at 4PM (MST).

It can be very challenging to assess all the required PBLA competencies for each skill area in one semester. Nataliya and Patrica, who both teach a Literacy Foundation/Literacy 1 split class, will offer some tips and tricks on how to do this.

Topics for discussion will include:

  1. What do you do in your class to address all the competencies for each skill area?
  2. Because many of us are now using pre-made modules would you like to see more mini modules released? What competency would you like to see addressed?
  3. What successes have you had implementing PBLA with low-level learners?
