Please join us on Thursday, February 17th at 4PM (MST) to talk about material design for literacy. Daniel Green will give a short presentation and facilitate a discussion on this topic.

Discussion topics will be:

• What is "cognitive load" and how can it be minimised when creating literacy-stream learning materials?
• What material design principles facilitate straightforward adaptation between all 4 skill areas?
• How can teachers create literacy materials that promote both learner autonomy and individual creativity?
