ATESL Advocacy and TIES - Let’s Talk About Literacy series is thrilled to have Andrea Echelberger as our conversation facilitator of the month. Andrea Echelberger is the current president of LESLLA and, as the video demonstrates, an excellent practitioner in the Language Experience Approach.

Learn about the benefits of using learner-generated texts in teaching literacy through the language experience approach (LEA). This research-backed approach supports the development of fluency and decoding skills in a highly interactive, contextualized, and most importantly, engaging process.
