Advocacy Webinar 2: Online tools for teaching and learning
Mar 19, 2020
ATESL Advocacy Committee’s Lemon-Aide: Resources for Teaching Online during the CoVid-19 pandemic.
Canadian ESL teachers are suddenly faced with the challenge of supporting our English Language Learners with online environments. Many of us are wondering how we can best support our learners when many of them have limited experience with technology and English. In response, many teachers have stepped forward to share free webinars on how to engage ESL learners online. ESL Teachers will be demonstrating tested technologies and teaching strategies that have worked with their own learners. Our current circumstances have given us lemons and we offer you lemon-aide.
Elina Stop will host a presentation which will provide a detailed overview of online tools and Google Classroom to support your students within a different course delivery. I will share examples of how these tools can be used to enhance language learning.
March 19: 3:00 - 4:00 PM
