Our next PD session will be on Thursday, February 25 from 6:30 to 8:00 pm.

Bob de Hoog from Bow Valley College will be continuing the discussion from our session last month. In Part II of writing profiles of ability from the CLB guide, the discussion will focus on the length and structure of paragraphs from CLB 4 to CLB 7. How can the structure of a paragraph guide the length of the paragraph? In addition, what is the appropriate interpretation of very short, short, relatively short, and moderate in length in the profiles of ability? Add your ideas and experience to the discussion. There will also be demonstrations of resources for students to find approximate levels of their own writing on different measurement scales.
