ATESL Advocacy Committee’s Lemon-Aide: Resources for Teaching Online during the CoVid-19 pandemic.
Canadian ESL teachers are suddenly faced with the challenge of supporting our English Language Learners with online environments. Many of us are wondering how we can best support our learners when many of them have limited experience with technology and English. In response, many teachers have stepped forward to share free webinars on how to engage ESL learners online. ESL Teachers will be demonstrating tested technologies and teaching strategies that have worked with their own learners. Our current circumstances have given us lemons and we offer you lemon-aide.
Please join us for our online learning opportunities during the CoVid shut down. You can find more information on Tutela at https://tutela.ca/Events?content=atesl%20advocacy
In this 45 minute webinar, Maria will provide a list of web resources that LINC and ESL teachers can use with their literacy and CLB 1-2 learners. A selection of lesson plans, ready to use or easily adaptable, will also be available for those attending.
