In this session Donna Clarke, from the Literacy Centre of Expertise, will introduce new Indigenous content designed for use in EAL Literacy classrooms. She will introduce a set of four digital readers and share some teaching ideas.

Topics for discussion will include:

• Do you think it is important to teach Indigenous content in your class? Why or why not?
• What Indigenous content have you taught in your class? What materials or resources did you use?
• What challenges have you faced teaching Indigenous content in your class?
• What successes have you faced teaching Indigenous content in your class?
