In this session, Donna and Jeremy, from the Literacy Centre of Expertise at TIES, will explore the journey from Foundation to CLB 4L. They will share their experiences with benchmark improvement timelines and highlight key factors that can impact learner progression.

Topics for discussion will include:

How do you support learners who feel discouraged when they do not progress to the next level?
Should schools set a limit on how many times a learner can repeat a level? Why or why not?
How can instructors help mitigate factors that negatively impact learner progression?
