Our next Calgary Local PD session will be held on Friday, April 16 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. Kevin Simpson, ELL instructor with Maple Leaf Academy, will introduce us to Avenue.ca, an IRCC-funded enhanced learning technology solution. In this session, we will look at how we can use Avenue to provide a meaningful learning experience in an online environment.  We will focus on question types and how to make quizzes, forums to promote interaction among learners, assignments, questionnaires and H5P files.

As part of the presentation, we are looking for 10 volunteers to be enrolled in Avenue.ca to demonstrate how some of these activities work.
