Description:
This presentation is based on a capping project focused on developing process-oriented listening instruction for literacy learners with limited formal education in a Stage 1 LINC setting. It explores strategies for supporting learners at CLB 1 and 2 by building bottom-up listening skills, reducing cognitive overload, and scaffolding tasks to increase learner autonomy. Practical examples, classroom tools, and reflection techniques will be shared to support instructors working with this population.
