ATESL Ethnocultural Project Graphic Design/Graphic Editor

The ATESL Ethnocultural Narrative Metissage Project is looking for someone with expertise in graphic design to format educational resources and a facilitator guide in Adobe InDesign/Adobe Creative Suite, MS Word/Powerpoint, and/or Canva.

The document consists of mostly text with some images, tables, and bulleted lists etc. This person would:

  • Provide formatting and graphic design to ensure that the document is attractive and readable.
  • Ensure accuracy of page numbering, cross references (links), and running heads.
  • Generate a final output in one or more PDF files to be posted on our website.
  • Polish real world task materials, such as posters, and create infographics.

Required Skills:

  • Experience with Graphic Design and document formatting
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign/Adobe Suite, MS Word/Powerpoint and/or Canva
  • Familiarity with designing educational materials
  • Design with a culturally sensitive lens, ensuring visuals are inclusive and respectful. This includes avoiding appropriation, stereotyping, or misrepresentation.

Closing Date – September 30, 2025

Honorarium: $800
Duration: November 1, 2025 - February 28, 2026
