LINC Resource Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Coordinator to join our team. The LINC Resource Coordinator will be responsible for coordination, support and assistance in the day to day operation of the LINC daytime program, ensuring the smooth delivery by supporting LINC classes and their facilitators, completing all administrative  and logistical tasks.

Experience working in the LINC Program is required.

- Assist with developing and implementing an annual plan for the LINC Program, and regularly report to the department manager/supervisor.

- Review Canadian Language Benchmark assessments and PBLA processes and the assignment of student entry and exit benchmarks.

- Ensure preparation of resources needed by the facilitators.

- Review student Progress Reports/Master Marksheets; review, and recommend student movement between levels. Collect previous artifacts and develop a system to manage them.

- Collect quantitative and qualitative data on the LINC program, provide an analysis of such data, and provide quarterly reports on progress in reaching outcomes.

- Liaise with students on day-to-day issues as they arrive, assist facilitators in addressing students’ issues.

- Conduct program and technology orientation for new students using Columbia’s online platform.

- Assist learners struggling with technology, trouble shooting.

- Assist facilitators with the community connection and guest speaker/field trip bookings.

- Revise/edit/create/assist in developing current program-related documents.

- Handle general phone calls and/or messages from stakeholders and calls from students regarding absences. Liaise with Admin Assistants to provide a cohesive service.

- Assist with childcare series by collaborating with the admin team.

- Provide information to prospective LINC students, conduct orientation.

- Meet with students who have attendance problems.

- Monitor and ensure the accurate and timely entry of attendance and grades data in Moodle.
