February 26 - Resources and Supports for LINC Program Remote Delivery

Agenda:

Topic: Resources and Supports for LINC Program Remote Delivery

Many new resources, webinars, and supports have been released during the past year to address needs related to delivering language training during the changing COVID-19 situation. This session aims to highlight the most relevant and useful resources for LINC Instructors that have become available since the start of the pandemic. The presentation will demonstrate where to find and how to use resources for online learning, digital literacy, complete modules, webinars, and other useful supports. Participants will learn about relevant resources available for LINC programs, be able to decide which resources are most useful for their context, and be able to share these resources with colleagues.

Alison Vickerman has worked in the LINC program at ASSIST Community Services Centre in various roles since 2013. She currently works as the CLB Consultant, an IRCC-funded position that provides training and support to LINC programs across Alberta.
