Developing Print and Digital Literacy in LINC Learners

ATESL Advocacy and the Literacy Centre of Expertise are partnering again for another great session!

Please join us on Thursday, March 17th from 4:00-5:00 PM (MST) to talk about developing print and digital literacy in LINC learners. Donna Seitz will give a short presentation and facilitate a discussion on this topic.

Discussion topics will be:

• How can instructors teach print literacy online?
• Print literacy and digital literacy require different skills and awareness. How can we address both in our classes?
• Going online has required learners and instructors to acquire digital skills quickly. How can instructors help learners develop confidence in their emerging digital literacy?
• How have your views on teaching literacy changed after going “online”?
