Confined Space Entry Program

Developed with rural audiences in mind, this booklet can be used for training learners who are working in an environment classified as a confined space. The booklet discusses the hazards of confined spaces, hazard controls (including personal protective equipment) which must be in place, as well as issues related to isolation, emergency preparedness, and entering a confined space. The resource includes a glossary of relevant terms, checklists, and a rescue plan form. The related Study Supplement includes strategies for teachers and students, vocabulary exercises, and reading comprehension exercises for each unit.
