Essential English for Health Care

This document describes a training program designed to bridge internationally trained professionals into health-care occupations. It helps learners develop the proficiency to obtain a health care position, function in academic skills training courses, and communicate in Canadian health care settings. The document describes expected outcomes, resources used in the course, and a weekly schedule (themes, concepts, functional language, and activities). Work in progress.
