Workplace English in Alberta
Workplace English in Alberta defines content-based English as a second language instruction, which is appropriate for English in the Workplace programs; and provides information and links to resources related to workplace English, together with references and materials for further reading. This module was designed to meet a frequently expressed professional development need identified in the Feasibility Study of a Professional Development Program for ESL Instructors of Adult Immigrants. The study was conducted in 2007-2008 with funding from Alberta Employment and Immigration.
