Edmonton Mini Conference - Teach and Inspire: Practice Generated Knowledge

With ATESL’s 40th Anniversary conference being held in Calgary on October 18 & 19 this year, the Edmonton Chapter is excited to announce our own mini conference this spring. The mini conference will be held on Saturday, May 25th, with the theme being Teach and Inspire: Practice Generated Knowledge.

Types of Presentations:

Features a leader or leaders working with a group to help them solve a problem or develop a specific teaching technique.

Each presenter will have 6 minutes to talk about their topic of choice; presentations are scheduled one after the other. All kinds of topics within the theme of the conference are welcome.

Set up station style, the tech talk sessions demonstrate technology that can be used within the classroom – for teachers and/or students.

Cost to attend: $25 presenters, $45 ATESL Members, $60 Non-ATESL Members.

Your registration includes breakfast (coffee/tea and pastries), a boxed lunch, a certificate of participation and eight different sessions to choose from.
